Show Relief Societies of Timp. Stake Will Hold Flower Show September 20th The following Executive committee have been selected to take charge of a Relief Society flower show of the Timpanogos Stake to be held in the High School Gym, September 20: Lavina Fugal, chairman, Rose Harper, Emily Rae, Hannah Halliday, Luella E. Thorne, Adena Swenson, Mary Wadley, H. I. Wright, Isaac Snndberg, Isaac Canham, Mat Can-ham, Can-ham, Minnie Dittmore, Mabel Johnson, John-son, Mrs. James T. Wright and Mary Monson. There will be departments for Primary Pri-mary children up to fourteen years of aje, for M. I. A. Junior girls, and for the general public- One for the older folks above sixty years of age is also being arranged for. First, second and third place will be awarded to the exhibitors. The following regulations must be observed in preparing the exhibits: The flowers should be each kind and each color of a kind by them-self. them-self. Long stemmed flowers should be picked with long stems and short stemmed ones according to their kind. Do not crowd flowers in containers three to eight flowers of the large kind make a beautiful bouquet Smaller flowers require more. Every kind of flower grown here will be displayed. Every one must furnish their own containers. The slogan will be flowers from every home, one bouquet or a number of bouquets, the best you have and arranged the most artistically. There will be spacn.e for sunflowers, sunflow-ers, wild rose berries, golden rod, asters or any other kind of beautiful wild flowers. The general public is invited to aid ! in collecting flowers and come out I and see the show. |
