Show Temple Ceremony Followed Oy Home Reception ! An interesting nuptial event of the summer was the marriage of Miss Helen Swenson, daughter of S- L Swenson, and Dr. Milton Park Ream, which took place Thursday, July 25, in the Salt Lake Temple. Dr. Richard R. Lyman, uncle of the bride, perform ed the ceremony. A large reception in their honor was given Friday evening, July 26 at the home of the bride's father in Pleasant Grove. The rooms were attractively arranged ar-ranged with garden flowers in various var-ious bright shades. The mantel, in front of which the bridal party stood, was banked with Shasta daisies and roses. A cluny lace cloth covered the supper table, which held a centerpiece center-piece of pink sweet peas and candles in crystal holders. The bride was attractive in white satin trimmed with real lace, makie bouffant style. Her tulle veil was caught with clusters of orange blossoms. blos-soms. She carried a bouquet of bride roses and lilies ot the valley. Tte maid of honor, Miss Elizabeth Swenson, Swen-son, was frocked In pink chiffon; the matron of honor, Mrs. Alexander Schreiner, wore rose colored chiffon, an'd the bridesmaids, Miss Alice Taylor, Tay-lor, Miss Margaret Swenson and Miss Mary Bird, were dressed in various shades of green chiffon. All the attendants at-tendants carried bouquets of roses and sweet peas. Rddney Ream of Bear Lake, was best man. The bridal party an'd father of the bride were assisted in receiving and entertaining by Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Limd, Dr. and Mrs. Richard R. Lyman, Dr. and Mrs. John Z. Brown and Russell Rus-sell Swenson. Supper was served in the garden, Mrs. D. R. Pingree being in charge. Assisting in serving were sorority, t sisters of the bride. Mrs. Ezra Judd j was in charge of the gift room. j Dr. and Mrs. Ream left on a late train for Oakland, California, where they will make their home. j |
