Show SOCIETY. Hilda Madsen entertained the 0. N. 0. club at her home last Wednesday Wednes-day evening. Besides the usual evening's ev-ening's proceedings two new members mem-bers were admitted to the club. They were the Misses Virgie Whit-lock Whit-lock and Estel'a Truscott. A dainty luncheon was served. Leonard Seely entertained at an H. H. G. party last Saturday evening even-ing at his home. The affair was an elaborate one from start to finish. An excellent five-course dinner was the feature of the evening's enjoyment. enjoy-ment. Music, songs, a session of kangaroo court and other similar performances made merry the hours and it was the conclusion of all that the party was a 1, A wedding reception was tendered tend-ered Lawrence Ericksen and wife, Wednesday evening by the bride s parents at their home in Spring City. A very splendid splen-did supper was served to about fifty , guests and a pleasant evening en-! joyed by all present. About twenty ! persons went down from this city. I Some very useful and beautiful presents pres-ents were given to the young couple. They will make their home in Mount Pleasant. Mr. and Mrs. Dr. R. A. Burch en- tertained a number of their friends at their home last Thursday evening. Five hundred was the order of the evening. Dainty refreshments were served and a jolly time enjoyed by all. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Neiison, Ed Wall, Max Seely, Christie Neiison, Ila Campbell, Camp-bell, Mr. Allred of Salina, Loraine Stt vens.Mr.Pilcher and Dora Larsen. |
