Show i Wedding Bells. A wedding which was quite a surprise sur-prise to their many friends was that of Miss Adelina Mangini and Richard E. Joy. which was performed in Sacred Sa-cred Heart church Wednesday morning. morn-ing. Nov. 6. The bride was gowned in white point de'esprite over silk, with long tulle veil. She was attended by Miss Rosa Brett, who also wore white. John Mangini, brother of the bride, was best man. Rev. Edward J. Barry, S. J., performed the ceremony at high nuptial mass. The wedding was quiet owing to the recent death of the bride's father, Mr. Siro Mangini, one of the best known of Colorado's early citizens. cit-izens. After mass breakfast was served the wedding party and relatives at the home of the bride, 2801 Curtis street. After a short triD around the state Mr. and Mrs. Joy will go to housekeeping at 917 East Twentieth avenue. Mrs. Joy was born and raised in Sacred Heart parish and has always been; popular 1ft East Denver society. She was graduated from Sacred Sa-cred Heart High school In the class of 06. Chevalier Prospero Frazzini, who left for his native land some months ago, presumably on business,-returned last week, with a bride, to whom he was married on Oct. 11 in Castel de Sangro, Italy, by Right Rev. Bishop Angelo Balzano. Chevalier Frazzini received his title last year from King Victor Emmanuel in recognition for valuable services rendered his countrymen coun-trymen In Colorado. He is one of the foremost citizens of Denver, and the banking houses of the Frazzini Brothers Broth-ers are established in many western cities. In addition, he Is proprietor of a large mercantile house at 2138 Fifteenth Fif-teenth street, and president of La Ca-pitale Ca-pitale Publishing company,, at 2404 Sixteenth street. In He Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Allen of 2923 West Eighteenth avenue announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Eugenia Allen, to Mr. Theodore Streff. The wedding will take place in St. Do-minico's Do-minico's church some time berore Christmas. Miss Allen is a native Denver girl and is immensely popular with 4he young set. She has at all time. taken an active Interest In Catholic Cath-olic societies, and Is at present secretary secre-tary of the Good Shepherd Aid society. socie-ty. Last year she served in like capacity ca-pacity for the Queen's Daughters, of which she is a charter member. Mr. Streff is in the lumber business. Both are singers of much ability and have been connected with various Catholic choirs. |
