Show MANITOU. A pretty little romance which began several years ago, when Mr. Michael B. Hurley, then of Duluth, wa3 a student at the University of Minnesota, Minne-sota, culminated this morning In the marriage of Mr. Hurley and Miss El'a Prendergast of St. Paul, Minn., in the chapel of the Castle of the Sisters of Mercy, Manlteu. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Edmund Lay, in the presence of a few friends and invited guests. Promptly at s o'clock this morning, to the strains of Lohengrin's wedding march, the bride, accompanied by Miss Genevieve Crocker Crock-er of Horton, Kan., marched down the winding stairs of the castle into the chapel. At the altar they were met by the gioom and the best man, Mr. Martin Mar-tin M. Burns of Detroit, Mich. At the close of the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Hurley and their guests sat down to a sumptuous wedding breakfast in the dining room of the Castle. At the close of the breakfast they departed on a short wedding trip. After Dec. 1 they will be at home to their friends at 714 East Platte avenue, Colorado Springs. In compliment to Miss Ella Prendergast Prender-gast and M. B. Hurley, whose wedding was celebrated yesterday in Manitou. Martin Burns held a reception Thursday Thurs-day night in his bachelor apartments at the Montcalm. Several songs were sung by Miss Flaherty, accompanied by Miss Lenore Gillis. Cards were j played and refreshments served. The participants were Father Fay, M. B. Hurley and bride-to-be, Miss Ella Prendergast, Mrs. George Cross, M. W. Purcell and wife, James Purcell, Mis3 Anna Purcell, Mr. and Mrs. R. i. Sock-ett, Sock-ett, Miss Anna Flaherty. Miss Mar-gue.itte Mar-gue.itte Carroll.
