Show j GRAND JUNCTION, COLO, j (Special Correspondence.) The St. Joseph Aid society meet on last Thursday with Mrs. Frank SteU rach, corner of White and Tenth avenue. ave-nue. A large crowd was out. Cards were played till 5 o'clock. A very nice lunch was served by Mrs. Steirach.and the ladies discussed business matters during the lunch. Mr. James Cosgrove went to Trinidad (on last Saturday to attend the funeral of Mr. William Murphy, who met with a sad death, being thrown from his horse and instantly killed. The. infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Anderson was baptized on last Sunday. Mr. E. R. Sims is expected home from Routte county this week. The prayers of the congregation were requested for the repose of the soul of William Murphy. Mr. Harry Gives, we are sorry to state, is in a critical condit ion owing to his long illness. Bazaar Meeting. All the women and men of the St. Mary's and St. Patrick's parishes will meet next Sunday at 4 o'clock at the Knights of Columbus hall (on West First South, in Jennings block, between be-tween Main and West Temple).
