Here is what we have In mind. "Plan for the establishment of a rotating loan fund for the members of the American legion In I'tah." ROTATING STATE FUND "It Is proposed to establish a state rotating loan fund of not less than jioooo this fund to be admlnlstei id by a committee of three appointed by! the department commander, subject to the approval of the department executive exe-cutive committee." said Mr Holther "Loans are to be made to members of the American legion upon the recommendation rec-ommendation of post commanders or adjutants. "No loan will be made to exceed $50 nor for a period longer than 60 days All loans are to be made without security, se-curity, and to bear per cent interest. Funds for this loan are to bo obtained obtain-ed by a pledge of $10 each from 1.000 members in this state. The department of Utah Will give a note to each member mem-ber who makes a loan to this fund, which will bear 3 per cent interest. "It Is also contemplated that loans may be obtained from the State of I'tah and from the various cities in whl h the American legion is organized. organiz-ed. Possibly some of the civic bodies will desire to make loans to the legion for this fund " Pinal details for this fund will be worked out by a committee appointed i by the state commander.
