EXTENSION ALLOWED FOR MAKING- PLEA Taking of plea of Frank White, former for-mer soldier, charged with forgery of 'several checks, has been postponed In the district court until Monday, the extension of time being allowed to give White an opportunity to raise the j money w ith which to make payment for the chocks It is said that If White repays the money and agrees to enter I a plea of guilty, the charge against him will be reduced to a misdemeanor. White Is said to have a young wife and child who are in almost destitute circumstances and for this reason leniency may be extended.
