Hanna Area News by Tracy Roberts Mrs. Florence Roberts returned re-turned home Tuesday after spending three weeks in Salt Lake with her son Roland during his operation. Roland has had a little set back. He has infection in his stitches, also blood clots. Mrs. Nadine Lewis went to Salt Lake Tuesday Tues-day to visit him a few days, and Mrs. Roberts has two of her children while she is gone. Mr. and Mrs. Jacy E. Humphrey left Friday for Logan where they spent Easter with Mr. and Mrs. Humphrey and family. Mr. Danny Fabrizio and Carroll Snodgrass of Salt Lake spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Art Fabrizio and family. Mr. Ed Curry and Vida Curry spent a couple of days visiting friends and relatives in Hanna over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Arylus Iorg and family, Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Bleak and son, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Giles and son of Salt Lake, spent the Easter holidays visiting Mrs. Margaret! Giles and family. Mr. and Mrs. Max Giles and .'family also visited Margaret and Mr, and Mrs. Frank Defa, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Olsen and family of California spent a couple of days visiting Mr. and Mrs. Foster Rhoades. Mrs. Olsen is the former Dar-lene Dar-lene Rhoades. Mr. and Mrs. Winslow Rhoades and boys of Roy, Utah, spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Foster Rhoades. Mrs. Theo Gines secured an award for being the best Matron for retarted children at the Utah State Training School at American Fork. , For her faithful service, she also received a beautiful ruby ring. Mr. Maral Gines will enter the L. D. S. Hospital Tuesday , where he wiU undergo surgery for a crushed vertebra in his neck. We wish him a complete com-plete and speedy recovery. Mrs. Myrtle Rhoades was taken suddenly ill Tuesday. Mr. Foster Rhoades and Bishop Fabrizio took her to Heber where she was admitted into the hospital. We wish her a speedy recovery. Mrs. Maxine Penrod and family of Kemmer, Wyo. , arrived Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Defa, where they spent the Easter vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lee and son of Orem spent the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lee and family. Ray Hackett and son, Kent, went to Salt Lake Friday where they attended Conference and visited LaVar Pace and family. Mr. and Mrs. Orien Smith and family of Los Angeles, California, spent Saturday and Sunday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Chet Smith and family. Orien is Chet!s brother. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith and Bobbie spent Easter weekend week-end at Mt. Pleasant with their daughters Jeanie and Charlotte. Mrs. Linda Kaiser and family of Salt Lake spent the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lee. The children spent last week here where Rodney was recovering from chicken-pox. chicken-pox. Mr. and Mrs. Leo S. Defa and Davona went to Salt Lake Saturday where they spent Easter with Mr. and Mrs. Del-yle Del-yle Giles and family and Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Allred and family of Heber. Mr. and Mrs. Walt Hale and family of Roy spent the weekend at their home here in Hanna. Mr. and Mrs. Rom Fabrizio and family went to Salt Lake over the weekend where they attended Conference and visited visit-ed relatives. |
