Show CUB SCOUT CARN IVAL SHOWS PROFIT The penny carnival project for the Duchesne Cub Scouts, Pack 268, netted $15.12 for the youngsters. The 20 cubs, with the help of their fathers, made the games, which they supervised at the carnival. Players laid down their pennies and had their fun. The refreshments of cookies and punch were sold for a penny . serving of each. It was a fund-raising project for the cubs, to buy badges and awards. Den Mothers assisting with the carnival preparation were - Mrs. Mary Huey, Mrs. Marge Ashton and Mrs. Bernice Kill-ian. Kill-ian. In attendance at the carnival, which was held on regular pack meeting night, were Cubmaster Stephen G. Huey, Commissioners Commission-ers Allan W. Ashton and George E. Marett. |
