Show BRIDGELAND AND ARCADIA NEWS Mr. and Mrs. Joe Clayburn, Mr. and Mrs. Vere Neilson, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Clayburn and Mrs. Kenneth Clayburn attended the funeral service of Frank Hancock, an uncle, held Thursday at Orem. Miss Naoma Gilbert from BYU visited over the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gilbert. Mrs. Evelyn Bleazard, Mrs, Bonnie Ross, Mrs. Opal Massey, and Mrs. Jane Farnsworth attendf ed Primary Conference in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Bleazard took part in the program. Clista Neilson, Kenna Jean, Karen, Sherrie, Mrs. Jo Ann Johnson, Keith and Bruce spent the weekend at Redmond and Richfield. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Liddell visited with' their, son Rulon and family at Orem this weekend. week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Preslar and Vere Neilson made a business busi-ness trip to Salt Lake Friday. Litta Meyer and family enjoyed en-joyed a trip to Denver visiting relatives and points of interest there. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Horrocks and family of Salt Lake were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Clayburn this week. Mrs. Horrocks is a sister of Mrs. Clayr burn. Jodie Purdy spent the weekend week-end visiting her brother Jan Purdy at Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ridpath and family of Lubbock, Texas, spent the weekend at the home of Wanless Shields and family. Mr. and Mrs. Boyde Freston took their son Larry to Salt Lake where he consulted a doctor. While there they visited visit-ed Mrs. Freston !s sister, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Black and Mr. Freston fs sister, Mr. and Mrs. Coy Durfee and families. Billie Wm. Odekirk and family from Seattle, Washington, Washing-ton, visited his father Lawrence . Odekirk for a few days last week. Mrs. Lawrence Odekirk returned as for as Salt Lake with them where she consulted her; doctor. Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday night were Keith : Rogers and Frank Groyer. Mrs. Grover sang accompanied by Mrs. Bronson. Dee Murphy spent the week home visiting prior to going into the service. Our community was sorry to hear of the death of LaVar Stansfield. He spent much of his younger life here and was a brother of Reed Stansfield. He was living at Price, Utah, where he had a family of nine! He has many friends and relatives rela-tives here. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Holgate and family spent Easter Sunday at Vernal at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Funk. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Goodrich were co-hosts. It was in honor of Doug who is going into the Coast Guard May 1. Special guest was Miss Sherri Jessen of Altonah. Easter guests at the Lon Farnsworth home were Lon's brother and family from Soda Springs, Idaho, and Mr. and Mrs. Dee farnsworth. |
