Mayne and Mrs. Raymond Cowdell spent Saturday visiting friends in Salt Lake City. Mrs. George Knudsen and son, Bnggie, enjoyed dinner and a show in Salt Lake City Sunday. Mr. Knudsen, who spent the latter lat-ter part of last week in Denver. and relatives in Park City were Mrs. Leo Brisk and son, Jerry Dean. A birthday party in honor of Bobby Pullan was given Thursday Thurs-day evening at the home of Mr and Mrs. R. E. Pullan. The 18 guests enjoyed games and a plate lunch. Prizes were won by Beverly Bev-erly Nix and Jay Turner. Mrs. Maude Deakin is moving to Bingham the early part of next week. She will live in the apartment apart-ment at the rear of the Community Commu-nity Methodist church. Mrs. Deakin Dea-kin wishes to state that she will continue her sale of Excelsis products pro-ducts in Copperton. Fun and frolic at the Utah Copper Cop-per park last Friday marked the gathering of the Bingham and Copperton summer playground children. Bingham beat the Copperton Cop-perton team at softball, 17-8. Tennis Ten-nis and games were enjoyed and a picnic lunch eaten at noon. Summer school will end August 15 for the Copperton youngsters. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Brisk and son, Allen, spent the week-end at the Brisk cabin in Provo canyon can-yon and at the Hot Pots. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hansen entertained at bridge Saturday evening for Mr. and Mrs. K. Is-, Is-, bell, Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Buckle, Mr. and Mrs. J.. Buckle was remembered, she being be-ing presented with gifts. Mrs. R. J. Smith entertained at a bridge breakfast Saturday morning, honoring Mrs. J. Dewey Dew-ey Knudsen on her birthday. Colo., judging a first aid contest, returned home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. McKellar and family spent Sunday in Tooele and in Settlement canyon, can-yon, where they enjoyed a picnic pic-nic with relatives.
