Show AUGUST 14 IS PROGRAM DATE AT PLAYGROUND All the children attending the summer playground at Bingham Central school are spending today to-day (Friday) at Liberty park. Miss Virginia Harris, Miss Max-ine Max-ine Rasmussen and Miss Donna Davies, instructors, will accompany accom-pany the youngsters. Miss Davies, Da-vies, pianist at the playground this term and last summer, is filling the position left vacant by the resignation of Miss Justine Jus-tine Jones, who has left for San Francisco. I Final event at the playground will be a program for parents and friends, Thursday, August 14, at 11 a.m., at the Central school auditorium. Of general interest will be the display of handiwork, presentation presenta-tion of a one-act play, modern dance demonstration and other dance numbers. Winners of the annual' amateur ama-teur program at the playground Wednesday as announced by Miss Harris are:. Four to seven years old Sandra' San-dra' Archibald, Mary Agnes Ja-cobsen, Ja-cobsen, Denece Johanson and Janice Ja-nice Hocking; Eight to 10 years Ila Mae Sheen and Lynn Archibald, tied ifor first, Valene Rasmussen and Carol Murano; Over 10- years Willadean Hodges, Lucille Sumnicht, Beverly Bev-erly Gleason, Sybil Archibald and Joan Manos; Boys' group Donald Throckmorton, Throck-morton, Marvin Johnson and Russell Robison. |
