Show field, Mrs. Ivie's mother. In spite of the fact that many of the playground boys are at Camp Steiner this week, some 75 to 80 boys have been at the playground daily. It. M. Matson of San Francisco Francis-co and Mrs. Leah Rands of Los Angeles arrived Sunday to spend several weeks with Mr. and Mrs. A. Bentley and family. The guests are parents of Mrs. Bentley. James Hill of Telegraph left Thursday for Logan where he will attend the state American Legion convention. Mr. Hill plays the Scottish drums in the Salt Lake City American Legion post No. 2, drum and bugle corps. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Mantle and son, Larry, visited Monday in Salt Lake City with Mr. Mantle's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Nilsson, and Mrs. Mantle's grandmother, Mrs. Matt Daum. LOCAL NOTES Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Killpack and daughters, Lolene and Janet Lee, of Phoenix, Ariz., spent Monday Mon-day evening here with Mrs. Kill-pack's Kill-pack's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Carl A. Curtis. The Killpack's were en route to Yellowstone Yel-lowstone national park. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Davies and sons, Stanley Ray and David Lee, returned Wednesday from a vacation vaca-tion trip to Yellowstone national park. Mrs. Alton Angus, Mrs. Leon Mitchell, Mrs. Duane Mitchell and Mrs. Mary Meacham enjoyed enjoy-ed a picnic at Tanner's flat last Friday.
