Show Mayors Will Talk By Wireless Phone To Tryflul Utility The first re! test of the wireless j telephone In I'tah will take place tomorrow night at 8 o'clock, when the mayor of Salt Lake will give verbal greetings to the mayor of Ogden. The conversation will be carried on by Mayor C. Clarence Neslen of .Salt I-ake, speaking from the government wireless ia- ! tion at the fair ground, to .Mayor Frank Francis jf Ogden, who will receive tbe message at forestry eorvlce headquarters in that city. The event is to be made q.itie a function here, with m'fnbers of the city commission and the board of governor of the chamber of commerce com-merce on hand to take part In the demonstration. A similar party wil be gatheied at the Ogden station. sta-tion. The demonstration Is In charge of K. B. Adams, telephone engineer for the forestry service, who st up the apparatus. Mr. Adams is a wireless telephone expert who ha been demonstrating tle usefulnrss of the system for fire profrt'on In the forests of Montana snd Idaho. He has already conducted successful success-ful communication over greater distances in those two states, but this is the first long distance a Ire-lee Ire-lee conversation ever to be held In L'tah.
