Show BIBLE SCHOOL ! OF COMMUNITY CHURCH CLOSESj The daily vacation Bible school of the Community church hold it,s . final gathering and demonstration program last Friday morning. The assembly opened with a worship service, followed by a brief demon-stiotion demon-stiotion of the work of each cla.;s in the school. At the close of the service the following awards were given to the pupils who showed the finest spirit thruout the two weeks in class and craft work : Junior intermediate boys Robert Urquhart, Gordon Livingston. Junior intermediate girls Luc ill : Jenkins, Thelma Madsen Primary girls Rhea Neilson. Primary boys Dean Ecardall , Clinton Jenkins. Beginner's class Eer tie Holmes, Pat Connors. On Thursday were held the picnic and races for the bovs and girls. The following won the wards for the races: Intei mediate boys Robert Urquhart, Urqu-hart, first; Gordon Livingston, second; sec-ond; Puul Jones, third. Intermediate- girls Margaret Pierce, first ; Be mice Evans, second. sec-ond. Junior boys Blaine Rowland, first; Dale Hardy, second ; Fred Rowland, third. Junior girls V erna Wing, first; Ila Nan Clyde, second ; Donnelta Fullmer, thiid. Primary boys Dean Gledhill, first; Bobby Knudsen, second ; Glen Rolfe, third. Primal y girls Louise Clyde, first; Connie Livingston, second ; Rhea Nielson, third. Beginner boys Clead Beardnll. first; Pat Connors, second. Beginner girls Melva Knudsen, first: Leslie Livingston, second The exhibition of the craft work was most interesting. The younger boys and girls made picture books, the older girls made and embroidered embroid-ered traveling kits, and the oldei boys made flower sticks and aeroplanes. aero-planes. There were nearly SO pupils who received perfect attendance, including includ-ing all the teachers. The spirit of the school was fine and the teachers, as well as the pupils, pu-pils, deserve much credit. The following served as teachers end helpeis: Missses Elizabeth Cjl-lilan, Cjl-lilan, Margaret Forsythe, Mai ga ret McPherson, Virginia Connors, Ida Hoffman. Grace Diamond! and E.da Urquhart. Also, ssi;;ting Mr. Wilson Wil-son with the boys was Robert Urquhart, Urqu-hart, Robert Lyall and Hill Wilkin. There were several ot her older boys served as helpeis from time to time.
