Mclntyre. on B street, last evening, when .their daughter. Miss June Mclntyre, was married to Frederick Dern. The decorations of the home were gor' geous. On either side the stair was a row of palms, white the banisters ban-isters were entwined wltft plumosa,' thickly studded with white carnations. carna-tions. Suspended from an arch of plumosa directly over the space at the foot of the broad staircase was ' a magnificent wedding bell of calls, lilies, white carnations and smtlax, the arch from which It was suspended sus-pended being studded with white carnations. At 8:30 o'clock, an orchestra or-chestra stationed on the landing upstair up-stair played the wedding march from Lohengrin, and the bridal party descended the stairs. First came 'the Rev. Then came the maid of honor, Miss Bessie Mcln tyre, wearing the daintiest of pale 1 blue silk gowns, made with white Valenciennes and trimmed with clusters of forget-me-nots. The matron ma-tron of honor, Mrs. James Chambers Cham-bers Dick, wearing her beautiful wedding gown of white liberty sllk,-came sllk,-came next. Both the maid of honor and the "matron of honor carried Immense clusters of American Beauties. Lastly came the bride, . dressed In her old-fashioned wedding wed-ding gown of white silk. At the foot of the staircase, where the ceremony cer-emony was performed, the bridal party formed a semi-circle facing the more than 200 guests, ,and a pretty picture they made. While the service was being read the orchestra or-chestra play Schubert's "Serenade." and at the close the wedding march by Mendelssohn. Then the friends . of the happy couple pressed, forward for-ward and showered them with congratulations con-gratulations and good wishea.
