Show ALLEGED BURGLAR IS HELD TO HIGHER COURT Cart Warr, who was arrested by Night-watchman Night-watchman R Melloy on Monday night on a charge of attempted burglary, pleaded not guilty in Judge Plehl's court this morning. Melloy and Police Sergt. Smith testified. Mclloy said he saw Warr trying to open a window In Fowler's bicycle store, and Sergt. Smith said Warr had admitted that he had tried to got in the shop to sleep by the stove. . Warr's defense was that he was intoxicated intox-icated and hart contemplated no wrong. He was held to answor in the District court. In default of $200 bonds he was committed. y 7 |
