At noon Chnlrmun Hopkins made a neat and appropriate little speech, followed fol-lowed by Commissioner Cahoon, and they retired. At 2 o'ctock the new board met and began transacting business for 1911. Sheriff Illack, it Is stated, will appoint ap-point Will Payne aa his deputy. The deputies for the other offices will be , about the same as those who havt tilled those positions for the past two years.
