Show Congratulations ;:J v 1 u'X? f'H -iff' I This week The Bulletin wishes to extend "Birthday Congratulations' Congratula-tions' to Mr. T. B. Madsen ai Operator for the Utah Light and Traction Company, on his birthday birth-day Monday, March 10th. OMr. Madsen has been an employee em-ployee of the Traction Company since 1026 and was first employed employ-ed as a Pitman in the Barn. In 1P33 he was transfered to the Transportation Department an. has worked in the capacity of bus operator ever since. During the time Mr. Madsen has acquired an enviable safety record and recently recen-tly received a four-year National Safety Award signifying four contihious years of no-accideni driving. He has also driven seven years without a chargeable accident ac-cident in the Traction Company's Safety Contest. Before placing an application with the Traction Company Mr. Madsen worked for several years in the sugarbeet factory in Gunnison Gun-nison and' in the mines at Bingham, Bingh-am, Utah. Being a hunting and fishing enthusiast, Mr. Madsen is appreciative apprec-iative of the opportunity in Utah to either fish or hunt the year around, and this year, if his wife presents him with the usual birthday birth-day gift of a hunting and fishing license, he expects to take full advantage of it and spend much of his spare time as possible participating par-ticipating in the sports. Mr. Madsen Mad-sen says he attributes his reputation repu-tation as a good fisherman to the fact that he "always lets the other oth-er fellow tell his fish story first," and that is good advice that ap-' ap-' plies to all sports. Mr. Madsen is residine with his wife and seven-year-old son at at 264 Wentwortli Avenue. The Bulletin also wishes to congratulate con-gratulate Mr. N. C. McDanicl, also al-so an employee at the Utah Light and Traction Company. on his . birthday Saturdav, Mardch 15th. 1941. |
