Show Committee ' Named For Founders Day Asking H. Scott Linnell of the Peerless Laundry to take the general gen-eral chairmanship of the celebration celebra-tion to mark the 84th anniversity of the founding of Sugar House, Wendell Ashton, president of the Sugar House Chamber of Commerce Com-merce turned the entire affair over ov-er to Mr. Linnell and the commit- tee he will appoint. Mr. Linnell asked the aid of Harold Chesler Barr Snelgrove, and Hyrum Young on the Finance Fin-ance Committee and stated at the meeting Wednesday of the Chamber Cham-ber that he would want to hear from this committee before committing com-mitting the Chamber to any ex- pense. . j j Paul Fredrickson was asked I to head the Contact committee ' to call on all merchants to determ ine how far they wished to go in 'an advertising manner for this event. Allen Seegmiller, Don iHobbs and another member were asked to aid on this committee. I Hal Richmond and Irene Con-niff Con-niff were asked to take over the advertising committee as their work on the same event last year I was declared by Mr. Linnell to : have been a complete success. The club secretary, R. Louise Hoggan, was asked to aid in keep-ling keep-ling the committees advised of progress made and meeting date. Mr. Linnell stated that he would appoint a program chairman chair-man in two weeks after the other oth-er committees had made the necessary nec-essary contacts and appropriated funds for the day of days, whichever which-ever the merchants want. |
