Show Never Drinks Water The koala of Australia, which resembles re-sembles a Teddy bear, never drinks, obtaining enough moisture from the young eucalyptus leaves on which he lives. There are several types of desert animals, however, which probably never actually take a tlrink, but obtain the necessary moisture from their food such as plants or insects. in-sects. Among such animals may be mentioned several species of desert des-ert antelope and a number of animals ani-mals typical of tht American desert, including the jack rabbit, the desert sparrow, the cactus wren, the desert tattlesnake. |
