Show MRS.J.SPENDLOVE RITES SATURDAY Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Jane Jones Spendlove, 71, of Magna, Mag-na, former resident of Bingham Canyon for many years, will be held Saturday (tomorrow) at I I a.m. in the Oquirrh Stake House, Lake Rdge Second Ward, 3084 S. 8499 West, Magna. Mrs. Spendlove died Wednesday morning at 8:35 a.m. in a Salt Lake hospital of natural causes. Friends may call at 36 E. 7th South, Salt Lake City, Friday (tonight) (to-night) from 6 to 8 p.m. Mrs. Spendlove was born June I 0, I 889, in Bountiful to Evans and Cynthia Porter Jones. She was married to Joseph Arthur Spendlove, Spend-love, Nov. 15, 1907, in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The couple lived in Bingham Canyon for about 30 years where Mr. Spendlove was sub station operator until his retirement several years ago and they moved to Magna. She was an active member of the LDS Church. Surviving her are her husband, Magna; sons and daughter, Dr. Joseph Gordon Spendlove, Iowa City, Iowa Max Jones Spendlove, Washington, D.C.; Dr. Ray E. Spendlove, Vernal; Mrs. John C. (Beatrice) Bates, Magna; seven grandchildren; a brother and a sister, sis-ter, Dr. Aaron E. Jones, Concord, Calif., and Mrs. Martha Moss, Bountiful. Interment will be n Tooele Cemetery. |
