Show Dedication Ceremony Plans Announced For College Buildings The opening event for dedication dedi-cation ceremcwiies for the new College of Southern Utah Student Stu-dent Center and women's Man-zanita Man-zanita Court dormitory will be the appearance of Louis Armstrong Arm-strong and his six all stars at the CSU auditorium Thursday, March 22, at 8 p. m. Mr. Armstrong, affectionately known as "Satehmo", is a world famous personality, having won accl.im in many countries, including in-cluding the Soviet Union. He is known as one of the greatest trumpet players of all time, and is equally well known for his throaty singing arrangements. He can hold a high C note for a greater, length of time than any LOUIS SATCHMO' ARMSTRONG living swing trumpeter and frequently fre-quently plays to high F and G. Mr. Armstrong's six all-stars are top professionals, including Billy Cronk on the bass, Joe Dar-iensbourg, Dar-iensbourg, clarinet; Trummy Young, trombone; Danny Barcelona, Barce-lona, drums; Billy Kyle, piano, and Jewel Brown, vocalist. Tickets for the performance may be obtained at the CSU auditorium box office for $2.50 each. Other dedication events will include an all-day open hou.ie in the Student Center Friday. March 23. Manzanlta Court will hold open house from 1 to 4 p. m. the same day. A buffett supper sup-per will be held in the student center cafeteria following the open house activities. Tickets will be $1.50. The dedicatory program will be held in the CSU auditorium Friday evening, March 23, at 8 p. m. Guest speaker will be Dean Wesley P. Lloyd of the Brigham Young University Graduate School. The CSU band will pro-vide pro-vide music for the event. The program will be under the direction dir-ection of the CSU student body officers. An activity workshop will be conducted Saturday. March 21. under the direction of Evan Stevson. Manager of Utah State University Union and Director of Student Activities. This will begin be-gin In the Student Center and will be open to all campus personnel per-sonnel connected with student activities. Richard Gillies.
