Show NEWS FROM SUMMIT Mrs. Donna Davenport On February 22 the Primary organization held a fund raising dinner at the church with most ot the ward members attending. SuMday evening a Boy Scout Court of Honor was held in our 4'hapel, with people from Enoch. Farowsn and Paragonah as well as Summit attending. The building build-ing was filled to capacity with some having to stand. Word reached here last week from Orien E. Dalley of Ann Arbor. Ar-bor. Michigan, a former Summit resident and brother of Otto Dalley Dal-ley from here and Mrs. Walter K. Granger of Cedar City, that his son John Dalley will leave soon for Moscow, Russia, to compete for the world champion violinist. Thursday Mrs. Norton B. James and son Benny and a niece, Mrs. Conley Adams, and children arrived here from their homes in Hunter to spend a few days with their folks. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Lawrence welcom- ed the Jameses, while the Adams family spent their time with the Jack Farrows. Thursday evening Mr. and Mrs. Clark Maxwell and young son of Enoch were here to complete the Farrow family I There are several very 111 peo-I peo-I pie from our community at this time. Mrs. Nita Jones and Mrs. I Elda Fife are both in the hospital hospi-tal at this writing, and John Far-dow Far-dow is staying with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Berry, In Cedar City. I Mrs. Hulda Peterson, who Is spending the winter in Santa Clara, was here several days last week. Her daughter, Mrs. Georgia Matheson of Parowan, Joined her here one day for a visit While here Mrs. Peterson was a guest of the John Jones family. Mr. and Mrs. Rodger Morton and daughter visited in Newcastle Newcas-tle over the week end. Sunday visitors at the Bert-rand Bert-rand Dalley home were Mr. and Mrs. Claude Hulet and son of I Parowan, and Mr. and Mrs. Dar-jwin Dar-jwin Hulet and family of Newcastle. New-castle. I Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Hulet i are living with their daughter, Mrs. Dalley, and family at the j present time while Mr. Hulet is under the doctor's care. |
