Show PAnACOriAU NEWS NOTES I Mrs. Hllma Lamoroaux The annual gathering of tht John Rowlandson Robinson family fam-ily organization will be held In the Paragonah Ward Chapel Saturday. Sa-turday. Mir?!. 3, and all relatives rela-tives of the family are Invited to be present. Siecial attention will be paid to the John Robinson branch of the family this year and members of that group are preparing an Interesting program pro-gram centered around tho pioneer pio-neer trek through the famous hole-inthe-rock. John Robinson Robinson was a member of the original group to make that trip. Schedule for the reunion events will Include a business meeting Jo begin at 4:00 p. m. to be followed by vlsltlnjj. Dinner Din-ner serving will begin at 6:00 p. m. and the program will follow at approximately 7:30. The evening even-ing activities are planned to include in-clude colored slides. Mrs. Erma Lamoreaux arrived home from Logan Saturday after spending the week with the Donald Don-ald Burtons. Mrs. Lamoreaux made the return trip from Salt Lake City with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Bud I Bauec of Cedar City. ! Mr. and Mrs. Jim Low of Boa-I Boa-I ver were here Saturday for a visit with Mrs. Law's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James H. Ander-' Ander-' son. Mr. and Mrs. Dick McBrlde left for Salt Lake City on Sunday in order for Etta to get some help with her back. She was scheduled schedul-ed to enter the St Marks Hospital Hospi-tal Monday and sturgery la indicated. indi-cated. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Barton of Parowan were in Paragonah Sunday. Bruce and Brerida Stones of Cedar City were here Friday and Saturday for a visit with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Stones. They went to Beaver Saturday Sa-turday night to visit with their maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Martell Easton. Their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Mario Stones, were in Las Vegas for the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Martell Easton were Sunday visitors at the D. A. Stones home. Saturday afternoon the Ward Building Committee sponsored a "Country Store" fund raising project pro-ject in the basement of ward chapel. Many household articles, baked goods, candy and other items were Hold to swell the building fund. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Davenport Daven-port enjoyed a week end trip to Las Vegas with Mr. and Mrs. Clair D. Robinson of Parowan and Mr. and Mrs. Mario Stones of Cedar City. The group drove to the Nevada city Friday and returned home Sunday. Nancy, Larry, Kathy, Tommy and Sharon Robinson of Parowan were here to spend the week end with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Revere Robinson. Mrs. Gwen Jones and Mis. Leon a Stones arrived home last Thursday after a week in Hen- edrson, Nev, visiting with relatives. rela-tives. Steven, Karen, Katty and Paul Edwards of Cedar City were week end visitors here with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Ches-ter Robinson and Mrs. Olive Edwards. Ed-wards. Ralph and Cleo made a trip to Salt Lake City. A group of Paragonah people participated in an excursion to the St. George temple Wednes day evening of last week. Included In-cluded in the group were Mr. and 'Mrs. Elmo Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Myron Abbott, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Boardman and Mr. and Mrs. Dick McBrlde. A number of townspeople traveled to Summit Sunday to attend the Scout Court of Honor. Jerry Michael! was advanced to Second Class and several others were advanced to First Class Scouts. Among them were Lynn Kay Topham, Jerrold Davenport, Daven-port, Clinton Toi'ham, Vernon McBride and Randy Lamoreaux. A number of the boys received merit badges. |
