Show TRAPS LOCAL BOYS IN STEAL OF GAS Two. Milford fellows, young,., although al-though both are of age, were surprised sur-prised in the act of taking gas from the pump of the Milford Auto Company, Com-pany, at the south end of Main street last Sunday night. The proprietor, L G. Clay, had noticed before that his pumps had been tampered with, and remained on; guard this night. He surprised the wrong-doers, and called the law. While waiting for an officer, he held off the boys with a gun, it being stated that one of them made threatening motions toward him. The boys were fined by, Judge Herbert Nichols and given a suspended suspend-ed sentence of ninety days, after remaining re-maining in the town jail a night and. a day. They were also ordered to remain out of automobiles for 90 days, and the car of one of the boys, the younger, was confiscated for 90 days. . ' ' Because the boys are not habitual lawbreakers, and because of the em-barassment em-barassment to relatives, the News is not giving their names publicity. In the future, they can expect nothing other than the full consequences if they commit such' folly. |
