Show HOME TALENT PLAY GIVEN VERY WELL Legion iuui Vumea Present ; High-Claws Performance; Attendance Fair "The Abssr.:.-Mi-.;ueii Briticrroom," presented at the High School, March 15, by a cast chost-n f-'om ih Amer-: Amer-: ican Legion ami Auxiliary, and un- der auspices of the s:::n;', was highly appreciated by ail who attended. Al- though the crowd was not as large as was expected because of the storm, the applause- and comment that tha ! play called forth proved iiio.-e thaii satisfactory. Many have expressed the wish that they had been there and have requested that it be presented pres-ented again. Those in the cast are to be complimented com-plimented for their efforts in producing produc-ing such an enjoyable, and also profitable, pro-fitable, entertainment. The. proceeds will be used lor the construction oi the Legion Park now under way. The Legion wishes to thank . all those who assisted in making this undertaking a success, especially the High School who furnished the music, mu-sic, and Mr. Andrews, who gave permission to use the High School Auditorium for rehearsals and presentation. pres-entation. The Japanese sonu and dance given by Maxine Kirk and Kathrine Brad-field, Brad-field, under direction of Mrs. MeGar-ry, MeGar-ry, was very pleasing and received much applause. o |
