Show 0 IRON COUNTY SCHOOLS FACE MONEY SHORTAGE The information has already gone out to the people of Iron County that the schools are facing a- somewhat critical financial situation because of the excessive delinquent taxes this pear. Supt. Barlow has estimated that it will be necessary to get at least $10,000 of the $19,000 due the School Board from delinquent taxes in order to finish the school year. It seems quite probable at the present pres-ent time that considerable of this sum will not be paid before July 1st, and that funds to continue school for the balance of the year must be had from some other source. !The School Board at its last meeting, meet-ing, after a great deal of discussion, . decided to borrow the difference between be-tween the budgeted, amount and the amount available, and continue the school as programed.
