Show Dance club wants your toes Denise Webb Contributing Writer During fall quarter of 1988 added a dance club to r the many other clubs that are available to the students With Tess Golata as the faculty ty advisor of the club it is starting to get its feet off the ground Some of the members just recently performed at one of the men and women's basketball basketball basketball basket basket- ball games They are also hoping to have a concert in inthe inthe inthe the spring All of the members have the option of whether or not to perform Although the club seems to tobe tobe tobe be doing well Golata said there is always room for more There are presently 15 to 20 members There is no limit to the number that can join Golata said The dub club does mainly jazz dancing and a little modern modem Members do their own choreography The purpose of the club Golata said is to is to dance watch dance and support support support sup sup- port dance Golata would like to see seemore seemore more people join the club and learn more about dancing Anyone is welcome whether they have experience in dance or not and at no charge she said If youre you're interested in joining joining joining join join- ing practice is held every Friday from 12 noon to 2 pm p.m. in the gymnasium Rm Administration Building |
