Show EPIDEMIC MARS HEALTH OF PATIENTS V Epidemic Overcome at State Hospital Anex Only One Dies in Month An epidemic of acute tonsillitSs and influenza added to . the dlst-quietude dlst-quietude of the patients of the state mental hospital during the month of April, according to Dr. Frederick Dunn's monthly report to the state board of insanity. However, only one serious case of pneumonia developed from the disease, the report re-port states and only one patient died during the month, which death resulted from epilepsy. On April 1' there were 735 regularly reg-ularly committed and 23 voluntary patients, or a total of 758 patients under care and treatment in the Institution. During tho month six volunary and 15 regular patients were admitted and tltree voluntary and 1.1 regular patieitts were discharged dis-charged which with the one who died, left 20 voluntary and 730 regular reg-ular patients or a total! 702 remaining remain-ing in the institution on May 1. The financial report shows that $3010.98 in fees and oliier cash receipts re-ceipts were sent to the ; state treasurer treas-urer during the month of April. The patients' fund line1, a balance of cash on hand on A:prll 1 of $803.54. During the month there was received $4-11.02 anil the disbursements dis-bursements were $342.00. lenving a balance in this fund Mtay 1 of $1091,50.
