The vocal solo work, of John Baley, M. E. Crandall, Jr., Elmo Coffman, A. L. Garbett, George Barrett, Bar-rett, Ernest Strong, Wm., Grooms, Ralph Snelson, nnd J. M. Nichols was almost classical in its nature. The trombone solo by Wni. Parry and the baritone solo played by Clair Johnson, brought volumes of applause from the audience. The jests of J. F. Wingnte could not have been duplicated outside of old Kentucky. . . The chorus work was of a high nature, the credit for which is justly due to director Melvin Done. And although mentioned last the work of Mrs. Bella Crandall, accompanist, accom-panist, was by no means the smallest part of the program. |
