Show t Senator Reed Smoot spent a part of the day here Saturday. Sometime Some-time was spent in visiting his old-time old-time friend and svehool mate, Mrs. Atkin. Senator Smoot was greatly surprised at the growth of Milford and the buildings that have been lerected since his last visit here. He asked the valuation of property and when told it, said, it will be double that in your city in a short time. Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Murdock Jr. with their three children have moved mov-ed into their new home recently purchased just north of the Williams house. They will make quite an addition ad-dition to Milford, as it means good workers in all civil affairs, Mrs Murdock being a woman of abilitv nd understanding and Jr. a good Republican and a good worker in all public capacities, and three more pupils for our schools. We need n:ore families like them. Miss Mary Wagner. of Casper. Wyoming. Miss Louise Ririoh of Denver. Den-ver. Colorado. Miss Ethel Day of Fillmore and Miss Dorothy Barrett of Merrill, Wisconsin, nr a bevy of beautiful and accomplished young .ladies who will act as teachers in T.;r public schools this year.
