Show MANILA WARD HONORS SERVICE MEN AT PARTY MONDAY EVENING Manila Ward Recreational hall presented a gny, and almost military mili-tary air on Monday evening when the Service Men's Entertainment Committee sponsored a party in honor of five young men from Uncle Sam's fighting forces. A program and games, followed hy refreshments and informal dancing dan-cing kept the large crowd entertained. enter-tained. Swenson; Private Richard Swenson Swen-son of Fort Douglas, Utah; Corporal Cor-poral Radmall of Jacksonville, Fla. and Private Ivins Thayne of Camp Shelby, Miss. Program numbers included Ac-cordian Ac-cordian numbers by Miss Ruth Beck; humorous readings by Geo. E. Dalton and responses by the honored guests. |
