Show History of art exhibit outlined at club Ladies Literary club members mem-bers enjoyed a program on the history of art in Springville presented by Mrs. Mae Huntington Hunt-ington at their meeting Thursday Thurs-day evening, at ,the home of Mrs. Blanch Beal. Mrs. Huntington explained the progress made in the art movement under the various ' principals of the high school I and of the prominent part j played by the various art cur- ators emphasizing especially the work done by the late Wayne Johnson in collecting the paintings from the various schools to start the permanent collection. Grandchildren of the hostess Melonie Fox and her younger sister Robin gave vocal selections selec-tions with guitar accompaniment accompani-ment by their brother Chris. Their mother, Mrs. Rulon Fox of Salt Lake City was a special spe-cial guest as was Mrs. Vilate Reynolds. Luncheon was served before the program. Short business was conducted by Helen Anderson, Ander-son, program chairman. |
