Show Jaycee Wives install at Mapleton April Showers was the theme for decorations at the installation banquet held Saturday Sat-urday evening i n Mapleton Memorial Hall for Mapleton Jaycee Wives. Tables were beautifully centered with brass containers filled with purple pink and white flowers flanked by brass candelabra containing contain-ing tall lighted candles. Miniature Min-iature umbrellas were presented present-ed as favors. President Neola Steiner presided pre-sided and introduced Nelda Leifson as toastmistress. Mrs. Steiner presented the officers who worked with her with gifts of appreciation. Gifts were also presented to .members .mem-bers who arranged the March meeting, the outstanding meeting meet-ing of the year. Recipients were Dorthy Perrero, Ruth Brown and Arlene Antonino. A financial report for the year was given by Joan Richmond. Rich-mond. The history book of the club was presented to the president pres-ident by Elaine Harmer, and Arlene Antonino presented her with the past president's pin. 'New officers installed were Delia Lowe, president, Marilyn Lee vice president and LuAnn Diamond secretary. Elaine Harmer will be the one year director, Neola Steiner, hold-ever hold-ever director and Arlene Antonino, An-tonino, historian. Retiring officers are Neola Stiener, president; Joan Rich mond, Secretary; Jean Angus, who has moved away, vice-president; vice-president; director Delia Lowe Arlene Antonino holdover director; di-rector; and Elaine Harmer, historian. |
