The PIK crops are com and wheat;, FCIC, will not charge a premium' on winter wheat acreage which will be destroyed to comply with the PIK program, Bradshaw said. However, policy holders must contact their insurance agent to revise previously reported acreage by March 11, 1983. In addition, for 1983 only, the crop insurance guarantees will be increased up to 10 percent per acre for PIK program participants.
