In 1918, the Jaycees were known as the Junior Chamber of Commerce and were primarily involved in young businessmens activities and projects. membership. The Individual Development portion of the concept involves self improvement programs like Personal Dynamics, Communication Dynamics, Leadership Dynamics, Speak-UTime Management and Family Life Development. p, Individual programs are varied according to the PAST PRESIDENTS PRICE JAYCEES involvement with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Many other projects are developed each year as the community needs vary from year to year. The Chapter Management Development concept involves developing leadership through management of the chapter programs. Organization, morale, pride, fiscal stability and credibility are all im- portant aspects of the management function. Through the culmination of all these programs, the Price Chapter has received hundreds of awards from the Utah Jaycees and U.S. Jaycees for outstanding service to the community and individual.
