Frampton were named on Monday by the Nephi City Council to make a comprehensive study of Nephi City wage rates and to make a recommendation concerning the rates at the June 6 meeting of the Nephi City Council. The committee was named at a special budget preview-meetinat the City Hall. The Council indicated its favor for the adoption of the salary schedule set forth in the uniform employment code now in use within the city, even though this would not give employees the percentage of salary increase they have requested of the city. Kendall Two Nephi women finish nurses' training Two Nephi women, Annette H. Kendall and Norma Schorer, have completed requirements for certification as registered nurses and at event next will be honored along with nine others for their accomplishments. The group will be honored on May 31 at a graduation program at the Payson High School auditorium. The students will be honored again on June 4 at Weber State College where they will receive their associate of science degrees. School board sponsors JHS basketball camp Two weeks of intensive basketball training will be featured in a summer basketball camp being sponsored by the Juab School District, according to an announcement made this week by Dave Decker and Alan Sperry of the Juab High School coaching staff.
