In a short but earnest speech Senator Lawrence placed in nomination, the name of George Sutherland. Numerous Nu-merous seconds followed. Senator Bamberger Bam-berger nominated William H. King. The vote showed 14 for - Sutherland and S for King, with Calllster absent. ' Senator Sena-tor Johnson asked permission to cast the vote of Senator Calllster for George Sutherland.
