Show NEW PRELIMINARY GIVEN DEFENDANTS Because City Judge George Armstrong Arm-strong drew up. the complaint In which George Williams, Frank Martell and J. King are charged with the larceny of a cow belonging to Fred R. Neuslln. while he was Assistant County Attorney, Attor-ney, and before his election to the city bench, the defendant's attorney, James Smith, demanded a new preliminary bearing Wednesday morning. The demand was granted without argument ar-gument by Judge Armstrong, who said that he would not hear argument in the matter. It is not now known when the case against the defendant will be held. Judge. Armstrong occupied the bench usually occupied by City Judge C. B. DiehL The prosecution was conducted by Attorney Stanley Price, in the place of Assistant County Prosecutor Wlllard Hansen, who Is out of the city. During the progress of the hearing, ! before the motion for new hearing was presented, the cases against Martell and King were dismissed on motion of the prosecution.
