Loubet will be . gin the consideration of the formation of a new Cabinet this afternoon. M. Combes, In his letter of resignation, resigna-tion, reviews his course during the last ' eighteen months. He says he has been tracked by an ambitious and impatient impa-tient coalition of clericals and nationalists national-ists which obstructed the work of the majority, and adds: "I have struggled foot by foot against their maneuvers. My personal . sentiments senti-ments are to struggle still, believing that Republican France is with me.But . it is easy to recognise that I may be put into the minority at any moment upon some comparatively minor incident, thus risking injury to the general policy pol-icy of the Government Therefore it is my duty to retire, following the vote of the chamber which again solemnly approved the policy of the Ministry over which I have the honor to preside." pre-side."
