JLEY of Beaver entertained 32 tunday School officers and teachers at a fireside Sunday, Dec. 9, at their home. Colored slides of the Centennial Cen-tennial parade and pictures of the celebration of Beaver's birthday were shown to the group. A color movie of the LDS Temple and the Rose Parade Pa-rade in Pasadena, shown by Carl Farnsworth and Dick Man-; zione, also were enjoyed by the j group. After singing Christmas carols, car-ols, refreshments were served to close the enjoyable evening. THE ANDERSON CAMP of the DUP held their annual ; hristmas party at the home of Mildred Yardley, in Beaver, Dec. 3. Sixteen members attended. at-tended. Gifts were exchanged during j the afternoon. i MR. AND MRS. ROY YARD- ! LEY entertained 24 friends at i dinner on Saturday, Nov. - 17. A pro-Thanksgiving theme was used in the table decorations. 1 On Saturday, Dec. 8, another group of 20 friends were entertained enter-tained at dinner, with a pre-Christmas pre-Christmas motif being followed. YULETIDE DECORATIONS formed the setting for the Belknap Bel-knap DUP Christmas party held Monday at the home of Martha Beaumont in Beaver. A lovely dinner, served 'from a beautifully decorated table, was enjoyed by Captain Zeima Muir. Mrs. Lydia Smith, Mrs. May Boyier, Mrs. Nettie Ston-ey, Ston-ey, Mrs. Veda DcMai, Mrs. I Ma ye Hodges, Mrs- Lue Thomp son, Mrs- Hattio Goodwin, Mrs. ; Mary Robinson, Mr 's.Georgina Beaumont, Mrs. Martha Paice, Mrs. Isabel Muir, and Mrs. Let-tie Let-tie Thompson, members, and two guests. Mrs. Clara Moyes and Mrs. Ruth Paice. The ladies exchanged Christmas Christ-mas gifts. SIX - YEAR - OLD CONNIE FARRER of Beaver had a gay time at her birthday party last Saturday afternoon, given by her mother, Mrs. McKay Far-rer. Far-rer. Friends wishing Connie a happy birthday and enjoying the occasion were Paula Os born, Connie Lynn Grimshaw. Carol Lee Baker, Melvin Walker, Walk-er, David Joseph, Michael Lee, Ray Allen Yardley, Jimmy Low, Keith Cartwright, Byron Muir, Janet Kay Roberts, Karla Jean Boyter, Janet Boyter, Jona Farrer, Gay Fillmore, Tamora Oakdcn, Susan Warby, Phil Beeson and Jan Smith. Games were played, and the prizes were received by -Melvin, Tamara, Michael and Byron. By-ron. Following the games, refreshments re-freshments were served. ON DECEMBER 6 the Beaver Study Club met at the home of Mrs. Vilda Smith, with 14 members mem-bers present. A book report entitled "Beyond "Be-yond Desire" was given by Mrs. Clara Carter- A tasty luncheon was served by Mrs. Smith during the afternoon- |
