Show ELKS PRESENT A FLAG TOJOSHEN A delegation of Ogden Elks, headed by j. h. Knau66, went to Salt Lake last evening for the purpose of pre-, pre-, sentlng to Rev. Elmer I. Goshen a uiomento of last flag day, when at the request of the Ogden lodge, he m.ide nn address on the flag before the Og- den people. The gift which they I brought was a handiome silk flag four j and one-half by five und one-half feet I j in 6ize and mounted on a standard j i bearing a silver plate suitably lo I scribed. The presentation was I by Mr. Knausn, who was followed by C. O. De Wolf and C. A. Boyd in bum though brief speeches. Ralph E Ho3g furuiRhed the music. Mr. Goshen vas taken entirely by surprise, but responded re-sponded In a brief speech of acceptance. |
