Show CASES TO BE HEARD IN COURT- Judge Howell is at Faimington, Da-is Da-is countv, today finishing legal business busi-ness of that part of the Second district dis-trict for the October term of courL Because of this the regular Saturday proceedings in handling the probate and motion calendars of the court for Weber countv, have been dispensed with. The court will give all its time to Weber county legal affairs during the next month. All the criminal cases of the county will bo considered and as many as possible will ibe disposed of. Thcro are fourteen criminal cases on the calendar, and possibly there may be others that will be culled before the month is over. The court has stated that the criminal cases must be given consideration at the earliest possible date, and that they should be tried and settled. Defendants will be given all tho time they desire in their preparation prep-aration for trial, bi:t Judge Howell is .f the opinion that the state should be readv in nil the cases when they are calk-d. District Attorney Nathan J. Harris states that he is noxious to dlsK$e of the criminal work at an early date and. unless something unforeseen un-foreseen occurs, he will be ready for trial in all the cases on the calendar for November. Aside Trom the consideration of the probate aud motion calendars, natur alizatlon eases and ex parte matters, there are ten civil cases set fcr trial during the month, aud at the setting of the caecs a few days ago, Judie Howell stated that the parties must be ready for trial if possible. Cases that have been continued tor a number num-ber of times and thus kept on tho calendar for months, and. In some cases for a vear or more, will be tried when called, or they will be dis missed.
