Show First Ward Reunion Big Success The First ward held their yearly reunion at the Tabernacle Thursday evening. The program was under the direction of the ii. I. A., with Lawrence Olpin and Edna Xeliion in charge. 1 The prize play "The Heart of Timpanogos," written and staged by I Miss Jewel Linebaugh, was presented. Oilier numbers were: Short sentiments senti-ments by Bishop C. A. Gamett, Counselors Coun-selors Lewis Olpin and H. W. Jacobs, Stake President W. W. Warnick and others; vocal duet, John Halliday and Roland Jacobs; reading, Miss Maurine Gourley; quartet, J. R. Halliday, Thomas Fenton, Nona Baxter and Mrs. Spencer; saxa-phone saxa-phone duet by John Halliday and Roland Jacobs; Colonial dance, Helen Gamett, Elizabeth Green and Maurin Gourley; banjo and harmonica har-monica duet, J. R. Halliday and Nile Wadley. Junius A. West and G. E. Oscar-son, Oscar-son, retiring members of the First Ward Bishopric, were guests , of honor and were presented with a small token in recognition of their services. Millen D. Radmall and Joseph Olpine received special mention, for short services in the First Ward Bishopric. |
