'SAFARI IN ALASKA,' JAYCEE FILM, SCHEDULED FOR LCCAL SHOWING Arlen Eeck, state president of the Utah Jaycees, announced an-nounced that after a one-season hiatus, the Utah Jaycees are returning to the scene with an all-new wildlife and hunting film called "Safari in Alaska II." This motion picture was filmed by famed Alaskan guide Ron Hayes, who produced the first "Safr.ri" film which enjoyed such outstanding success two seasons sea-sons ago. The motion picture is filmed in color and sound and is a chronicle of several hunting expeditions which have been guided by Ron and Beverly Hayes of Anchorage, Alaska. This factor is perhaps the most important one in the outstanding out-standing success of the "Safari" "Sa-fari" films. Because thousands of feet of film are exposed on each of these hunting expeditions, expedi-tions, the producers have a tremendous amount of footage with which to put together nearly tw hours of solid action. The new "Safari" film records re-cords several trophy kills and has some extremely fine close-up close-up photography of the magnificent mag-nificent game animals of Alaska. Alas-ka. A brief interlude records a visit to the Eskimos on Little Lit-tle Diomede Island in the northernmost inhabited area of the United States. The camera discloses many interesting and varied activities of the Eskimos, Eski-mos, including some excellent shots of ivory jewelry making. |
