Show ORDINANCE NO. 100 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THAT PORTION OF ORDINANCE ORDI-NANCE NO. 85 OF THE ORDINANCES OR-DINANCES OF BEAVER CO. RELATING TO VACATION TIME AND LEGAL HOLIDAYS HOLI-DAYS OF COUNTY EMPLOYEES. EM-PLOYEES. Be it Ordained by the Board of County Commissioners of Beaver County, State of Utah, as follows: SECTION 1. "Section 3" of Ordinance No. 85 of the Ordinances Ordi-nances of Beaver County, Utah, is hereby amended to read as follows: Each employee of Beaver County shall be entitled en-titled to a vacation with pay of five working days for each successive year following the first year of his employment by Beaver County, and a total of ten working days for each .successive year following the first five successive years of such employment, and a total of fifteen working days for each successive year following the first fifteen successive years of such employment. Vacation Va-cation time may not be accumulated ac-cumulated from year to year, it being forfeited if not used during the year allowable. For purposes of this section, the term "year" means a period of 3G5 calendar days following the date on which the employment of the particular employee commences, during which per- iod the employee has worked ' for Beaver County at least 168 , working days, exclusive of sick leave, and Including vacation vaca-tion time, SECTION 2, "Section 4" of Ordinance No. 85 of the Ordinances Ordi-nances of Beaver County, Utah, is hereby amended to read as follows: An employee may observe ob-serve the following legal holidays holi-days without the requirement of performing the duties of his employment thereon: all Sundays, Sun-days, New Year's Day, Lincoln's Lin-coln's Birthday, Washington's Birthday, Arbor Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Pioneer Pio-neer Day, Labor Day, Columbus Colum-bus Day, Veterans Day, Thank-; Thank-; sgiving Day, and Christmas ; Day; providing that this section sec-tion shall not apply in cases of emergency where life or propsrty is in imminent danger ' within the County. If any such holiday shall fall on a Saturday, then such holiday shall be observed on the preceding pre-ceding Friday, and if any such holiday, except Sundays, shall fall on a Sunday, then such holiday shall be observed on the following Monday.
