Reed Moore reports that Russell Keats Utah State Slate University Extension Sheep and Wool Specialist is In the I county commencing a test program program program pro pro- gram with Rulon Moon of Woodland Woodland Woodland Wood Wood- land on sheep performance Under the test program the selected rams about 15 or 20 In number will be weighed first record kept of ot tre ire sires and rams and then fed special diets during the test period At the end of the period the rams will wUl again be weighed and evaluated as to gain In weight The grade of wool will be checked against the sire and ram to see Which line JIne is giving the best program A similar program In beef was I carried out by liy the Winterton Brothers of Woodland last year and will well comm commence nce again In November November November No No- vember Selected bulls will be weighed Nov 22 and checked two weeks later as to gains made during the tho test period Records will be checked against dam and calves The gains will be checked on a a dally weight gain and the length of time which it takes each to reach a specified weight which will vary with each animal Information gained through these tests will help other stock raisers to determine the best type I of feeds to use with their animals animals an an- I I
