Show 4-H ClubNotes The Fourth Year 4-H Foods club met at the home of their leader, Mrs. M. H. Pool, Thursday at 2 p.m. A program for the year was planned md the next meeting will be held in the high school, at which time Ardith Bird and Margaret Moore will give a demonstration of the art of making cookies. The officer's for the year are: Selma Johnson, president; Marie Carlson, vice-president; Itha Patterson, Patter-son, secretary and treasurer; Margaret Marg-aret Moore, assistant secretary-treasurer; Ardith Bird, song leader; Marie Gillies, reporter. . The fourth meeting of the Busy Twelve 4-H Foods club was held June 7 at the high school. Due to the tar-dness tar-dness of the president, the meeting was called to order by the vice-presi- 'dent. The club hike was discussed and several committees were selected for it. Margaret Hanlon, Virginia i Uvan and La Vere Connell are the1 cost, and transportation committee. : Two committees were selected for the next meeting. They are: Allyn Claire : English and Virginia Carter, posture committee; Virginia Ryan and Zola i Rogers, milk ct mmittee. I The Green Clover 4-H club met jJune 13 at 10 a. m. The hike com-I com-I miuee gave a report and it was decided de-cided that the hike should be on June 15. A demonstration on bread was given by Margaret Litchfield ,and Lillian McCullen and a talk on posture was given by Hazel Tribole. The next meeting will be held Wed-j nesday, June 20. The candy sale which is to be held ! j Saturday, June 16, was discussed and jit was decided that Wilma Couch and: I May Kelly would be the sales girls i at the Murdock store, Almeda Edwards Ed-wards and Jane Yepsen at Jef-fersons Jef-fersons and Cerola Heslington and Shirley Altman at the Safeway. Songs were sung and the club was I dismissed by Almeda Edwards, the I president. |
